I immediately had to add the CocktailDB to my online hangouts in the sidebar. It's exactly what I was looking for as a bar reference site: explanations of ingredients (with suggestions for substitutions), a large drink recipe database, and a lively, personal style.

To top it all off, there's the Mixilator, which creates a random drink for you. Note that this isn't a random choice from the recipe database, but a new, original drink (albeit one that could possibly duplicate a drink in the database) based on your answers to a small questionaire. My bar isn't stocked enough to use it as a party game, but the temptation to do so is great! (via Looka!)
