Musical Networking

The success of myspace and its networking component continues to breed newer, more niche oriented sites, kind of like the explosion in the magazine business following the desktop publishing revolution. The most recent of these is MOG, which is a little full of itself, but has some nice, interlinked touches. One of the things they've done is attract actual musicians to join (an idea somewhat snitched from myspace) and with the latest, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, they're running a contest.

Sign up for MOG from this link and I get entered into the contest again (up to 25 more times--I sincerely doubt I have 25 friends who would be interested in this, much less 25 people who read this space, but I'm ever the optimist).

I'm copying CD reviews that originally appeared here over in MOG, kind of like how my reviews also pop up over on Amazon. My belief is that I want to be read, and as long as the attribution remains, I don't care where the words are.
