Today's Drinking Slang

There's nothing like a slang dictionary to make you laugh as well as catch you up with another world. Ever since I started this electronic communication thing, I've been fascinated with slang and how people will adopt words and terms to fit their foci and hobbies (my favorite from the mid-1980s of the electronic bulletin board set was a term that I had coined and hoped would take off: "transpostite" for a person who posted messages while posing as the opposite gender).

I've recently been on a cocktail kick (more about this anon) so I found this list of modern drinking slang a real hoot, especially terms like "sousetrap n. a bar with cheap happy hour prices but unusually high post-happy hour prices." We've all been in that place, I'm sure.
