Basic Questions for the Universe

Why is it that real estate agents never know the square footage of the house they are selling and know everything else about? You don't suppose they deliberately don't measure, or, horrors, are lying when they say, "Well, the lot size is 4800 sq. ft., but I don't know what the house is."

These are Jill's questions, not mine. I simply post them here because I'm in complete agreement.

Yeah, after 3 open houses today, I had to wipe off the slime from two agents before getting back in the car. But the first one was nice; he had chocolate chip cookies... (easily bribed by treats). Too bad the place would have involved so much repair.

If anyone knows of a nice small place in NW DC under $400K, let us know.... o-:
