I guess I somewhat do, because I scored an 8 out of 10 on this quiz. I attribute not getting a perfect score because I'm not an obsessive fan.

Of course, the quiz comes about because of the new movie, Minority Report. I saw it this past Friday and liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I'm wary of Spielberg--I had great expectations of A.I., and while that movie had some interesting moments, it really was bad story-telling, not just bad science fiction. Minority Report is much better--while there are a few plot holes, it succeeds in capturing some of the Dickian atmosphere and philosophy, such as do we have the ability to change our lives. The special effects and chase scenes didn't get in the way of the story, and while there's a little too much similarity at times to L.A. Confidential (not merely in plot, but in wardrobe), it doesn't get too lost along the way. I would have cut the last 30 seconds for sure, and maybe the last five minutes. Spielberg just can't do noir, I guess.
