Sitting down for the Continental breakfast that came with our lodging here on our last full day in Costa Rica. Last night we went with Dave and Sandy to the P. Jungle Bar for dinner-not as good as the previous night's dinner cooked by the lodgemistress, Ruth, but it didn't matter since we went for the company rather than the food. We spent nearly three hours over dinner, partly due to the busy nature of the place and their slow service, partly because we were talking. The night ended in the resolution of an argument with the guy from Ann Arbor at the next table over gun control--it was the first time I had ever had a gun advocate agree that there should be a licensing provision similar to obtaining driver's licenses.
