Hotel Tamarindo Diria, Tamarindo
Breakfast by pool side while water aerobics are going on. Jill and I have found something funny--the things that we had feared most have happened to us. Jill was paranoid about getting sick, yet it is she who has to listen to her body's new rhythm for a couple of days. Me, I didn't want to get sunburned, yet I'm the one the hotel staff are probably calling Lobsterman. SP30 sunblock, even the waterproof stuff, and I'm still very red. I guess what protection it gave me is better than none, and at least it is mainly my back. I really hate it when it's my face. The arms are a little red, but it's the back that hurts.
But, despite life's little difficulties, we're having fun. I burned in my two-hour fun in the surf yesterday, then we went on a 2-hour horseback ride in the Santa Cruz community area, and then we went on the leatherback turtle tour.
