Rejection

A quick (8 day) rejection for "The Perfect Home" by Tomorrow SF. A.J. Budrys wrote "I thought it was good in some ways, and pretty much spun a consistent narrative thread. But, unfortunately not enough so I could decide to buy it. Basically, the setup of the home was solely intended to find a new way of killing the nasty husband, whom we have otherwise seen many times before."

I hate it when editors actually take the time to skewer the story correctly. Why can't they let me just live with my delusions that this story is actually saleable?
